Weight of My Wings
Weight of My Wings is April London's most personal and powerful release to date. This 17-track album blends trap soul, ghetto gospel, and Southern rap into an emotionally charged body of work that speaks to survival, love, betrayal, growth, and triumph. Rooted in Dallas, Texas, the project represents elevation through pain and beauty in resilience—giving voice to those who’ve been tested but never broken.
Official Singles
“I LUV Texas” is the only single dropping before the album — a bold Texas anthem celebrating pride, power, and Southern roots, available October 3. Following the album’s release, “Million Dollar Bih” delivers a bossed-up, self-worth anthem, while “What Happened” offers a raw, reflective take on betrayal and silent revelations. “Midnight Thoughts” captures late-night vulnerability in musical form, and “What Is Love” closes out the post-album releases as a soul-searching ballad about trust and emotional depth.
